Brett's Challenges

Being the first member to go to college in my family in and of itself is challenging. One of the biggest challenges of being at college is time management, you don't have your parents to help you wake up for school, cook you dinner and give you responsibilities around the house. You have to take the initiative and the time to go out and buy your grocies, do your laundry and finish your homework. Being at college you will learn if you don't plan out your day accordingly or you will quickly fall behind. A second challenge that I face is being involved on campus. William Woods is such a very small school that it is imperative to get involved. I am involved in 3 clubs as well as being on the soccer team and part of a fraternity. This all ties in once again to time management, getting all your homework done and all of your club work done to maintain a good academic GPA.
